Located in San Benito, the Heavin Resaca Trail measures at about 2.6 miles. Its asphalt trail covers both sides of a section of the Resaca de los Fresnos. The trail includes the W. H. Heavin Memorial Park, which features several amenities including picnic tables and shelters, fitness stations, swing sets, outdoor grills, basketball courts and a playground. This trail serves as the site for many events in San Benito, such as local races.
