Southmost Nature Trail




Type of trail:

The Southmost Nature Trail is expected to be a 7-mile trail, though its first section opened to the public in 2017. The current portion of the trail connects Gladys Porter High School and Del Castillo Elementary School.

A second existing portion connects Garza Elementary to several residential neighborhoods in the Southmost area. Once the trail is complete, it will be connected between the Historic Battlefield Trail and the Southmost Public Library.
